Hi, I’m Franz đź‘‹
I’m a tech-savvy engineer and DevOps enthusiast behind this blog — a space where I share insights on cloud infrastructure, automation, and the art of building scalable systems.
I was born and raised in Italy, and that’s where my passion for technology and problem-solving truly began. Almost every solution you’ll find here has been battle-tested in production environments or refined through hands-on experimentation—whether it’s containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure-as-code that brings reliability and efficiency to modern systems.
Architecting cloud solutions, automating deployments, or experimenting with new technologies — this is more than just engineering for me. It’s a passion I’ve carried for years, and now I’m excited to share practical knowledge and insights with the tech community through this blog.
Whether you’re here to find technical solutions, learn something new, or just enjoy diving deep into engineering challenges — I’m truly glad you’re here.
What this blog is
I write short, practical notes on:
- privacy & security (threat models, breach response, hardening)
- self-hosting (reliable setups, upgrades, failure modes)
- dev / DevOps (tooling, automation, small scripts that save time)
- productivity (only when it’s grounded in concrete workflows)
The goal is reproducible, easy guidance: configs, commands, tradeoffs, and what broke.
What to expect
- Usually 1 post/week
- Posts are short by default; sometimes I publish a longer “reference” post that I keep updated
